Manage team zones in your Organization
Departments may span across multiple zones, floors, or even locations. Some teams might only need their designated space during certain periods, and you may want to make that space available to others without limiting access for the team it belongs to. This is where the Team Zones feature becomes valuable.
Team Zones enable you to assign specific Workplace collections to a team, granting them priority when booking. Team members can reserve as usual, while other users will be notified that they are attempting to book in a restricted area. However, non-team members can still proceed with their reservation after acknowledging the warning.
Where can I find Team Zones in the Control Center?
Under Workplace policies you will find "Team Zone Policies" - one restricted and one with an "until" time.
As an Organization Manager you can view the workplaces linked to a team zone policy, edit the name, the description, the days applied, deactivate a policy, manage linked workplace collections and edit the pop-up, all in one place.
Converting a User Group into a Team Zone User Group
If you do not already have a User Group created for a Team Zone, you will need to create one and then convert it into a Team Zone User Group. This can only be done by an Organization Manager.
Go to the "App users" tab and click "User groups" on the side. Here you can add a User Group, or if you already have one, convert it into a Team Zone User Group.
