The VBOS NFC Plate is an NFC device that is a simplified nonelectrical version of the VBOS Hub. It is similar to the NFC Sticker, but this version is specifically designed for meeting rooms. Always combined with either a VBOS hub or an NFC Sticker.

Preparations

Intended use
The product is intended to be mounted on meeting rooms to indicate the availability status of these resources in an office environment within the VBOS end user app.
VBOS NFC plate
The product’s function is singular: 1 Storing workplace ID on NFC chip to be read by the VBOS app and to mark every workspace with an ID.
Mounting and commissioning
Position the product in a room (or at a room entrance) so that a user can easily view as well as easily reach out for it to be able to ‘NFC-tap’ the product with a smartphone. Be consistent in placement. The preferred placement of the plate is on the center of the door or next to the door depending on the office configuration.
Activation
The product is configured, using a smartphone app (‘setup app’ in Google’s PlayStore or Apple’s Appstore). In essence this setup app allows you to synchronize the sensor to a VBOS device, so that the sensory data is transmitted to the smart workspace platform. Once the configuration of the product is finalized the sensor data can be displayed in dashboards or accessed as raw data.
Maintenance & Care
The plates can be wiped for dust or cleaned with a damp cloth if needed. Do not use cleaning agents.
Disposal
Electrical and electronic equipment, accessories and packaging must be recycled in an environmentally compatible manner. Do not dispose of electrical and electronic equipment as domestic waste.

Warranty
A warranty period of 12 months applies to the product, commencing on the day of purchase of the product. The warranty solely covers inadequacies caused by material defect or manufacturing defect.
The warranty does not cover any unauthorized use or tampering with the product, such as product overloading, use of violence or force, damage as a result of any unauthorized interference or caused by foreign items.
