iPhone
You can scan a space using the designated in-app NFC button, located on the lower left of the screen. You can scan by tapping this icon and then holding your phone close to the NFC.

Please note : Supported iPhones: All iPhones from from the iPhone 7 support NFC. The position of the NFC reader is located in the top part of the iPhone.
Android
If your device supports NFC and you have enabled it by following these steps. You can scan a space by holding your device over the NFC.
On android, NFC needs to be enabled in order for the phone to use it. As there are a lot of different Android phones that do or do not have NFC, the best way to find out if your phone has NFC available and enabling it using these steps:
- On your Android device, tap on “Settings”.
- Select “Connected devices”.
- Select “Connection preferences”.
- You should see “NFC” and “Android Beam” options.
- Turn both of them on.

Please note : The location of the NFC reader differs a lot on different android devices. It is possible that your device has the NFC reader in the middle, top, or even bottom of your phone. If you're having trouble scanning Office Dots even though NFC is enabled. You can search online "*PHONE MODEL* NFC location" to find where the NFC reader is located on your device.
